How long does it take to transfer money to another account?
How long does it take to money to be shown on my natwest account when someone is transferring money from barcalys account. Also how long does it take to transfer money to natwest account from another natwest account before funds are shown on account

It usually takes 3 days, which in this day and age is ridiculous. Who earns the interest on your money while it is between places. Certainly not you the customer. GRRRRRRR!!!!!! Rant over.

should not take more than a day or two. I did online banking to another Eu country and it took only two days.

Natwest to Natwest is instant - I often transfer money to my wife's Natwest account. Between banks - it's normally no quicker than a cheque - 4 days.

it takes 2-3 business days to have the money transferred into your account. it will show up on your next monthly statement, which you can view online anytime through your banks web site to view (if you opened a account on line with them) if not then you will have to wait until you receive your next monthly statement in the mail. You might also be able to call the bank and speak with a customer service where they can mail it to faster, if you need your statement sooner.

it depends on how the transfer is being made - if it being done through an Automated Clearing House method, it could be a few days...if it is being done by wire - it should be within a matter of hours if initiated on the same business day before the cut-off time.

Usually 3 or 4 working days - as was said earlier, it earns the bank a little more interest while it is in cyber world
