How do I make my Xbox sign into an account automatically but not sign into Xbox Live?
Let me explain. I have a Silver Xbox Live account and when I switch on my Xbox, I have to choose my Xbox Live account and when I pick it, it will try to sign into Xbox Live. I want to have it where I switch on my Xbox and it will choose my account automatically but it will not auto sign into Xbox Live. How do I do this?

Un plug the Internet cable in the back of the xbox :) It works for me. Yeah mw3!

Sign in to Xbox LIVE. Press the Guide button. Move to the Settings blade, and then select Profile. Select Auto Sign-in, and then make any changes that you want. The Xbox will always try to connect to xbox live, it's just an automatic function. But if you don't have a gold membership then it obviously can't and will just take you to the dashboard.

What time does money go into bank accounts?
I put a cheque into my A&L account last Friday. I still haven't got my money yet though. Last time I did this, I had it by now. I phoned the bank to find out when I would get it and she said Thursday. It's now Thursday and no sign. Is there a specific time it goes into the account?

You can however you would need to have access to your IP and then somehow check every single members IP address. Your IP is unique, this is how people can ban you from their servers. Find the IP and you find the computer, IPs however can't be obtained by general members of the public. So in short, the answer is no.

How do I password protect a folder in Windows Vista without having multiple user accounts?
There are no multiple user accounts on our computer, when it boots up it is just to a shared desktop, and I don't wish to creat multiple user accounts, I don't really see a point. Also, I don't want to download and/or purchase any special software for it. Is there any way to do this without doing those things?

Go to the folder you want to password protect from Computer-> C drive etc etc. Then right click on the folder name and somewhere there, it should give you either security options and allow you to encrypt/decrypt the folder. You can select the encrypt option and it'll guide you though a bunch of things to help you set up a password for encrypted folders. Once its set up, go back to the folder and right click on the name once more to encrypt it. It'll ask for the password once more and then password protect all of the files within the folder. Then, if you want to access it, you'll have to use the password that you set it all up with. If you don't have that option available and want to protect say word/excel files, click on the 'Save As' button and then click on tools in the box. Then click on general options and you should be able to set a password to encrypt those files. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any other questions =)

What do I do if a creditor has not reported my account information to credit bureaus while in good standing?
I have had a car loan for two years and I recently checked my credit report and realized that they have not reported any information about this account the entire time. Is this illegal? If so where do I find more information about it?

I don't think they have to report it. BUT most will. I would call them and find out why they are not giving you credit for this purchase. Im sure its just a oversight. I don't know if its a law or not but I would research some more google it and find out more on the topic. If it is then I would call and threaten them with legal action

i've done this before, but it can take longer than expected. I have got confirmation email when it's completed. Be patient, it's annoying really but can't be helped.

If you have online banking, go to your account and look for the transaction. Otherwise you can call your banks hot-line, speak with a representative and ask if the transaction has cleared OR you can walk into your bank and speak with a banker.

Confirm that the money has been deducted from the balance of your Paypal account. Hi, I'm about to apply for a bank account with the Bank Of Scotland. I was wondering how long it will take for this account to become active after applying and, equally as important, when I will receive my Visa Electron card? N.B. I'm not transferring from any other accounts, I'm just starting as new. Thanks.

Ask for it if they don't offer it. It will come by mail within a week or so, and the individual PIN will come by separate mail, but your account will be active from the minute you deposit money in. Visa Electron is a debit card, and you have to have the money already in your account to be able to use it - you can't go overdrawn. Just make sure you keep enough money in the account, and you will be fine.

I didnt like even get a freakin warning just "sorry your account has been suspended" then they told me I wasnt eligible for my account to be reinstated. Wahhh so many best answers lost forever ;_;

There is no exact number, since accounts are reviewed individually. One major TOS violation will get you suspended immediately with no warning. Many minor violations over a year will not get you suspended, but those same violations in a couple of days will. YA has always said that EACH violation is a warning your account is under review and the next violation may be the one that puts you over the top. Suspensions are forever, unless you can convince them they made a mistake in applying the rules and that you didn't violate the rules. Not only can your YA account be deleted, but if a bad violation, all your Yahoo accounts including email can go "poof".

Hi, just so you know, I have around 2300 Gamerscore on my first account (which does not have Xbox Live). When I got Xbox Live, I had to create a new one for some reason, now I have two accounts one with 2300G and one with 400G, how do I transfer the 2300G from my non-Xbox Live account to my new Xbox Live account with the 400G? You have a Virus known as a Worm. Worms use your email to send out emails with infected links to all your contacts because the will click the link because you are trusted. Run your Anti-Virus program to find and remove the Worm. Do this in Safe Mode. ...the messages disappear after my 'widows mail' (Formally outlook) account collects them. This is very frustrating as I access my mail through my phone on the go. This was fine when I was soley using yahoo but now all my archived mail is in outlook i don't have anyway to access it on the hop. How can i get it all back in my yahoo account without painstakingly sending them manually?

Transfering money from a blocked bank account to another account with the same bank?
My bank account has been blocked and I can't get to the bank to find out why and I was told on the telephone that I need to go to the bank to get it unblocked. Can I still transfer money from this account to another account with the same bank even though there is a block on it. I was told that I could not make an external tranfers but I wondered if I could still make an internal to my other account. Thanks.

That would be server-side scripting, with a database attached to it. PHP and MySQL would be the best (and easiest) combination for it. Do a Google search for "PHP MySQL simple Member System".

If you're just creating the website, and aren't hosting it, then I agree with the above post; PHP and MySQL work together wonderfully. However, if you're hosting your website yourself, rather than on a hosting site, this is a different story. I found that the easiest way to do this was to set up a "LAMP" server.. LAMP stands for Linux Apache MySQL PHP. Just Google "setting up a LAMP server" and it'll be easy to get started. Either way, you can easily find a good template for login and even profile information.. Good luck!

Paypal has limited my account for two reasons one reason is i had more than one account and the other reason Im not sure of. Ive contacted them dozen of times via email and phone and i havent heard from them all i get is a email saying i should check resolution centre and i did and yet nothing. I have Money on my account but since its limited i can not withdraw my money! How do I get my money back from them?

I am looking to become self employed but will want to upsize my house in a couple of years time. With the imminent withdrawal of self certification mortgages, will it be difficult for me to get a mortgage? How many years accounts will I need to be able to provide? If i have 100 in a savings account paying 6% on a monthly basis how much interest would i get after a month? Also would this be the same with say 8% on a current account or do they work differently?

It means you get 6% of whatever your average balance is over the course of the year. (Minus taxes of course)

You would get 6% in a year which would be £6 per year. If paid monthly, it wuld be about 50p / month. It is actually worked out daily, so the amount may be slightly different but not by much. Also, it would be taxed, so if you are earning a salary, you would get less than that.

Are the banks required to disclose this information to HMRC? I regularly make deposits into a savings account from part time jobs, as I am a student. Am I required to disclose this for tax purposes?

The Taxman has no idea how much savings you have the bank cannot tell him without a court order when you next get a tax return it will tell you what you do and don't have to declare

Banks are legally required to notify HMRC of the interest paid (from which a calculation can be made) and also, unless the account is one that pays interest gross, to deduct tax from the interest at the standard rate and pay it over to HMRC. That is likely to be the position that you are in with your savings account (which will be interest bearing, unlike a current account). If your income for the year is less than the personal allowances, do remember that you can claim it back from HMRC at the end of the tax year.

I have my username and have found my videos on there. When i say i can't remember my password it sends me an email but i never get it, I've only ever used 3 different email accounts and it's not going to any of them! Is there anyway i can get around this? I haven't used the account for 2 years.

Basically, Google and Youtube are both joined, that means your should be able to use your registered Google email password to login with your Youtube username. I have an account with Santander and have been really disappointed with their service and so want to close the account I have open with them, how can I do this by letter? It's probs a daft question i've just never done it before. Thanks! =)

I think Its rescue via letter but possible, you have to submit your all detail with account closing form then they will give you a final check of your account account.

I don't know about England, but in the US when I moved from one city to another, and opened a new bank account (at a different bank company) they told me they could notify the other bank to close that old account and remit the funds into my new bank account. So ask your new bank to do the same. After the funds have been properly remitted, then write your letter of disappointment. Always get the money out first.

the same thing happens to me when I deposit cheques into my account, I think it is because they are waiting to be approved, it's either that or that fact that your account could require a minimum amount (25) in it all times

it means that you can only withdraw £5 the other £25 is what they call ear marked... if there is something that you have bought that is due to come out your account and it is in that process, or if paid in cheque of £25 then is in process of going into your account.

I would appreciate if someone could provide me with a simple, yet implementable, formula to calculate the monthly interest on a UK regular savings account. For example, I would like to invest £250 every month for a period of 12 months at a fixed rate of 4% (net) per month. I look forward to applying your formula.

Hi, I'm a British Citizen who currently lives in Korea. I'd like to open a British bank account, but not sure if I can without going into a branch in person and signing forms, etc. Is it possible to do this while living overseas and if so, what bank would you reccomend. I'd like to get a Visa card with the account and more importantly, the ability to withdraw money from other countries. I travel a lot. Thanks for any help. graeme.

If you've lived in the UK before, it may be possible to open a new account or re-open your old account with the bank you were with before. However, due to Money Laundering Legislation, you need to provide documentation before opening an account and most importantly, you need a registered address in the UK and proof that you live at that address. You could try opening a HSBC Account in South Korea and use that until you get back to the U.K. HSBC is the world's largest banking group and I believe you can access your account from anywhere in the world with them. However, you should double check that before going ahead with it. At the very least, you will be able t withdraw money from Cashpoints with a HSBC Account. An offshore bank account is another option, but only really viable if you're quite wealthy.

How i share files over different accounts on a Mac?
Say i have firefox and another application on the main account, how do i do it so that them programs are shared on all the other accounts on the computer...? Thanks

Place in the /Applications folder, which is shared by all users. Just make sure that it's not in your home folder.

My friend has had a problem with a certain person. This person keeps hacking into his facebook account and keeps messing around with his profile.It has happened a number of times and he has had enough. can anyone give me some advice? please help!

How can I restore a user account/documents folder after reinstalling Windows XP Home Edition?
There were 2 user accounts on my PC before a forced windows reinstall. Both were administrator. One is visible under documents and settings, and can be explored. The other (the one I need to restore or at least access) is saying 'access denied'. I have alot of important documents in this user account. How can I access it? I know the files are still there as they show up during virus scans.

you can try to open up your control panel . choose `Administrative tools . then select `Computor management , then `Local user and groups',. then click on user,, under groups... you shouls now have up all the details of who is administrator and who is users etc and , by right clicking on them you should be able to find out what their properties are set up as , and from there be able to change a setting or two. Of course you will need to know pevios passwords set to change admin rights .

You must have ownership of a protected folder in order to access it. you can access the folder by taking ownership. To take ownership of a folder: Right-click the folder that you want to take ownership of, and then click Properties. Click the Security tab, and then click OK on the Security message (if one appears). Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab. In the Name list, click your user name, or click Administrator if you are logged in as Administrator, or click the Administrators group. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box. Click OK, and then click Yes when you receive the following message: You do not have permission to read the contents of directory folder name. Do you want to replace the directory permissions with permissions granting you Full Control? All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes. Note folder name is the name of the folder that you want to take ownership of. Click OK, and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents. Go to settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendar - Add Account... - Other. Then input the information it asks for. I am not sure Hotmail can work with it though

How long does it take for a winnings to go into my ladbrokes account?
I just won money on a horse on the ladbrokes site and ive noticed that there is no money showing in the withdrawal option or on my accounts. So im just wondering how long does it take to actualy show that ive won something and also how long will it take to transfer into my bank account? Thanks in advance!
