How can you show commitment and motivation towards your work and why is it important?
I am currently studying for my nvq2 in accounting and this is one of the insane questions that they are asking.

Turning up on time, staying on until job is done if that means staying late, making suggestions for improvements, taking on extra tasks

Acting like you care, or even really caring and taking an interest in the well being of the company you work for, really caring, is noticed by employers and rewarded with promotion and responsibility. It's actually a very apt question, in my opinion. You manifest this by finishing jobs not just saying whatever and leaving things undone right at 5 PM - and by noticing things that may need fixing and bringing them to your supervisor's attention.

To show commitment and motivation at work shows ,that you care , about the job, and are focusing and working hard, motivation - getting early to work, doing the work , quickly, not talking alot commitment - getting the work done quickly , coming in everyday , coming in early Its very important , to do this it shows your the person sutied to the job, you can do the job, your a reaiable person , your running the business well , which is really important to keep its standards always running.

I think the best way you can show commitment and motivation towards your work is to "BE THERE". Let's face it, if you're not where you are, then where are you? When it's time to play, play. Likewise, when it's time to work, work. Emotionally invest yourself in it. Demonstrating commitment is easy...look for opportunities to improve things, be a problem solver. Why should you do this? There are the financial rewards that usually go along with a job well-done, but more importantly what you're doing is developing a strong reputation and that's priceless. Really BEING WHERE YOU ARE is an important character trait to have. It will help you in every aspect of your life and make you the kind of person that other people want to be with.
