How can i stop an unautorised user sending emails from my account to multiple addresses?
Someone is using my account to send emails to addresses in my contacts about their electronic company.. How do i stop this?

You have a Virus known as a Worm. Worms use your email to send out emails with infected links to all your contacts because the will click the link because you are trusted. Run your Anti-Virus program to find and remove the Worm. Do this in Safe Mode. If you do not have an AV program then go to this site and use the free scan and removal. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

delete the account and create a new one. also, tell your friends before you do so no one sends it to the old one again.

seems like you have got a worm To Make sure you don't have worms first. I suggest you run a scan with malwarebytes . you can get malwarebytes here, this is a direct download link so you should have no trouble getting it. click on this link ↓ and then select run. http://www.malwarebytes.org/affiliates/2-spyware/mbam-setup.exe INSTALL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP, update it, then run a full scan and remove everything it finds. some viruses will try to disable it so if malwarebytes will not start up then go into the folder it is in and rename the mbam file to XXX then double click on the file you just renamed to start it up. after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan. to make sure you have nothing else hiding away. http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html preferably in safe mode with networking. ☼
