How i share files over different accounts on a Mac?

How i share files over different accounts on a Mac?
Say i have firefox and another application on the main account, how do i do it so that them programs are shared on all the other accounts on the computer...? Thanks

Answer 1 :
Place in the /Applications folder, which is shared by all users. Just make sure that it's not in your home folder.
Answer 2 :
In OSX there is a "Shared" folder in you Users folder. Anything placed in this folder becomes public property and can be accessed by all account users (assuming that you have placed access restrictions to applications on other users).
