Answer 1 :
You can use your bank card at most ATM machines so long as your bank card has the "plus" icon on the back (https://www.equitablebank.com/images/plus_logo.gif). Best to confirm with your bank - and inquire what the service charges will be each time you make a withdrawal - Sometimes you can be paying about $5 per withdrawal if you're not careful.
Answer 2 :
Internet banking
Answer 3 :
StIs your money so you can if your card are visa or master card or electrone
Answer 4 :
You should be able to wire it to yourself. I'd contact your bank to see their options.
Answer 5 :
Depends on your card, but why not just move it to your debit card? Which works everywhere, it's what I do. Forget wire transfers, how does that get you money? It doesn't.

How long do bank accounts stay active for in the UK if money is owed on them?

How long do bank accounts stay active for in the UK if money is owed on them?
UK only My mate opened a Barclays account back in 2000 and before he left he over-drew 300 pounds and never paid it back. Hes looking to return there after 9 years. Do you think the account will be active still and the money still need to be paid back with interest?

Answer 1 :
probably.
Answer 2 :
well in the US you have 30 days then you will go on something called check systems meaning you cannot open a bank account for 7 years. ot sure about uk contact the bank but im sure there is someting similar
Answer 3 :
IF he was overdrawn he would be charged overdraft fees (vary depending on the bank) and the bank would keep sending him statements etc.....so, yes, he would still owe the money and a load more. Sounds like he wasn't really overdrawn, otherwise they would have contacted him before now!
Answer 4 :
well due to him going back to Barclay's they may not accept him due to the overdraft. they may off wrote off the debt or passed it to a debt collector and as he is applying back to Barclay's they will pass on his new address. but after 6yrs a debt is not enforceable due to no contact with the person. they are after my old debt from 12yrs ago as i applied for a bank loan with another bank and with credit checks the had my new address(debt collectors) try out www.lawanswers.co.uk for free post the question and in 24hrs they email you the answer.
Answer 5 :
The debt has probably got higher and higher due to charges etc. I can't see that they would have wiped it off and I hope they haven't as what your friend did is paramount to theft!

Answer 1 :
It usually takes 3 days, which in this day and age is ridiculous. Who earns the interest on your money while it is between places. Certainly not you the customer. GRRRRRRR!!!!!! Rant over.
Answer 2 :
should not take more than a day or two. I did online banking to another Eu country and it took only two days.
Answer 3 :
Natwest to Natwest is instant - I often transfer money to my wife's Natwest account. Between banks - it's normally no quicker than a cheque - 4 days.
Answer 4 :
it takes 2-3 business days to have the money transferred into your account. it will show up on your next monthly statement, which you can view online anytime through your banks web site to view (if you opened a account on line with them) if not then you will have to wait until you receive your next monthly statement in the mail. You might also be able to call the bank and speak with a customer service where they can mail it to faster, if you need your statement sooner.
Answer 5 :
it depends on how the transfer is being made - if it being done through an Automated Clearing House method, it could be a few days...if it is being done by wire - it should be within a matter of hours if initiated on the same business day before the cut-off time.
Answer 6 :
Usually 3 or 4 working days - as was said earlier, it earns the bank a little more interest while it is in cyber world
